Dick Albu
Recently, I’ve entered a new chapter in my career as an author. My new book, “Mastering Strategy Management: Turn Vision into Action to Driv
e Exceptional Results,” is now Available on Amazon at www.tinyurl.com/masteringstrategymanagement. My book brings together 30 years of strategic experience in a format that leaders can use as both a guide and a reference to the strategy management framework. Looking ahead, my mission hasn’t changed: to help business leaders align vision with action and challenge themselves to achieve results that truly matter.
Readers have described my book as “fast-turning, informative, and filled with insights,” and “a tool I will keep close to me.” Others have gone further, saying “this book could become the bible of strategy management.” Even academics have embraced it: “This book is a wonderfully useful collection of articles on strategy management, and a must-read for all business students, entrepreneurs, and business leaders.” For me, that feedback is deeply rewarding—it tells me the principles I practiced in boardrooms and conference rooms for decades are still relevant, practical, and helping leaders make better decisions.
Throughout my three-decade consulting career, I have had the privilege of working with business owners, CEOs, and leadership teams of middle-market companies. I was allowed to help them strengthen their companies through the art and discipline of strategy management. My mission has been simple but powerful: to improve the lives of leaders, their families, and employees by turning strategy into action and achieving exceptional results.
I built long-term relationships with clients who came to see me not as an outside consultant, but as an extension of their management team. Leadership teams appreciated my “personal hands-on approach,” which fit perfectly with their culture. One leader put it best: “Dick’s strategy management approach was our defining moment. It helped us make critical business decisions, and his framework became an integral part of our everyday operating philosophy.” Others described my approach as straightforward and calming yet challenging in all the right ways: “He transformed our planning into a meaningful, measurable, and achievable platform, and enhanced our skillsets as executives.”
I’ve always tried to bring to my work honesty, clarity, and a genuine commitment to helping business leaders succeed. Seeing clients energized by strategy management has always been the most satisfying part of my career.
